My friend wants to sell me his Palm Treo 700 for sprint for $200 with all the cables and chargers — i really want an htc mogul — but since I have a plan with unlimited data and text, as well as 1000 minutes for $30 i dont want to change my plan. My old phone is crap but i heard the treo has bad sound.. — the thing is any of the smart phones I want under sprint are too expensive if i upgrade like 300,400,500 .. no good. if i get the treo then im saving money, but i’m worried its not a good phone.
no
it depends on how much $ you make if ur swimming in money sure its awesome but if not then its a crappy deal
I have a Treo 650 and I live by it like most people live by their appointment books. It has everything that you need and will use, particularly if you are on the road and need to access your email (which comes in from a variety of services). The categorization in the phone book, memo is amazing. Also the document viewer is a nice feature to quickly review info and respond back via email. Backup is a synch so all your data is protected on your PC! It’s like a little office in your pocket. I love my Treo. Also, the 700 version has a WIndows OS!
Now, the data plan alone costs me $44, so where did you get such a great deal?
Absolutely not. You can do better than that on EBAY.
And, here’s something the cell phone providers don’t tell you. Smart Phones, because they’re always searching the Internet, don’t have nearly as good reception as a regular cell phone. I had a Treo 750, and it dropped calls all the time. Finally, a tech service person told me about the problem with Smart Phones, and I switched back to a regular phone (Sprint refunded my money, even though it was past the 30-day refund period, because they withheld this information).
